What information or documents do I need to prepare before my appointment?
You don't need to have everything perfectly organised or have official deeds on hand before we speak. It helps to have a general idea of what you own (like property, savings, or investments) and to think about who you would want as executors, guardians for young children, and beneficiaries. We will guide you through the entire conversation step-by-step, so there is no need to stress about getting paperwork ready beforehand.
Is it worth paying for a professionally written will rather than using an online template?
A template can seem like the cheaper option, but it won't ask the questions a qualified adviser will ask around guardianship, blended families, property ownership, or how your estate should be handled if a beneficiary predeceases you. How often should I review or update my will once it's written?
